This week we will add some new dynamics. Remember! Dynamics means the volume of the music. Check these out. Here is your activity this week. All you have to do is sing some of your favourite songs and try to change the volume as you sing to match the dynamics.
Watch this video. The music is a song called "The Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg. Listen to how the song crescendos. Can you see the dynamic symbols we have learned go by in the video? You may have to watch it more than once to catch them. Have fun! Comments are closed.

DirectionsThe activities are ordered and you can do them at your own pace. You can do them all or one per week. Start with Activity 1. Click on it and read the instructions. If you enjoy an activity, feel free to do it more than once! Music can be beneficial to creating a calm environment during times of stress. Sometimes it is good to put on quiet and calming music to increase focus and calm minds. Classical and baroque music is particularly good for this although if you really don’t like it, you can play anything you wish.
Here are other simple activities you can do to keep music in your lives. Some will work better for you than others. |
