Over the next month, we will be learning about the Orchestra. The instruments in an orchestra are divided into four families. The String Family. The Woodwind Family. The Brass Family. The Percussion Family. Here is a chart showing where all the instruments in the orchestra fit. The String Family are the instruments in the yellow sections. Here is a video that explains the orchestra. This is how each of the string instruments in the orchestra sound. Not every string instrument is found in the the orchestra. If you enjoy an activity, feel free to do it more than once! Music can be beneficial to creating a calm environment during times of stress. Sometimes it is good to put on quiet and calming music to increase focus and calm minds. Classical and baroque music is particularly good for this although if you really don’t like it, you can play anything you wish.
